Camp is a fun and
exciting experience for kids and young teens. The many activities and
friends they will make are just two of the many experiences your
child will go through. Before sending your child to day camp, there
are a few things to expect and prepare for.
What to Expect at
Zodiac Day Camp
Zodiac Camp has a fun
and exciting summer camp program
for kids participating in the day camp and the long stay camp.
Parents can enroll their kids in different programs based on their
child’s age.
Kid-Vantage Program
This program is for
kids aged 2.5 to 6.5. Some of the activities in this program is a
swimming lesson from Zodiac Swim School. Also, there will be
age-appropriate camp specialty programs for participants.
Specialty Program
The specialty program
is for campers aged 5.5 to 12.5. Campers in this program are allowed
to choose a specialty wherein they will get professional instruction
and use of camp equipment.
L.E.A.D. Programs
This advanced program
is for older kids and young teens aged 12.5 to 15.5. Young teens
entering this program are prepared for potential employment in Zodiac
Camp. Participants go through training sessions and workshops for
leadership.
The various
age-appropriate programs helps kids not only have fun at camp, but
also learn life skills. The fun and exciting activities are
coordinated by trained and experienced staff in their respective
fields. Your child will get top-notch coaching and workshops in their
chosen specialties. Zodiac Camp also has the equipment and facilities
to cater to the different interests of campers. Zodiac Camp also
adheres to strict safety and security rules when campers use the
equipment and facilities. Your child will be in good hands no matter
what activity they participate in.
To help your child
prepare for his or her summer campprogram, join him or her in preparing the items that he or she
will bring to camp. Helping your kids pack helps ease some of the
anxiety they may feel when they are at camp. Also, go with them for a
personal visit to the camp. Introduce your child to the staff and
instructors at camp so that they will be comfortable once camp
begins. Showing them around camp will help them envision the
activities and all the fun they will have at summer and day camp.
Camp is a fun place to
participate in various activities and sports, and it is also a great
place to meet and make new friends. Prepare your child for what to
expect to let them have an enjoyable and anxiety-free camp
experience.
